Over the past months as we’ve settled into our new role as a publicly held company, we’ve benefited from counsel and insights from our board of directors to guide our success.

As we continue to grow, we recognize the importance of including new perspectives and expertise to drive our mission of democratizing technology skills across the world.

So it’s with great pleasure that I welcome Leah Johnson and Bonita Stewart to our board.

With the addition of Leah and Bonita to our already strong leadership team, we will benefit from the discerning guidance of two trailblazers who have made significant impact in their respective fields.

Leah is the founder and CEO of LCJ Solutions, a strategic communications consulting practice specializing in reputation risk management, messaging and change management for marquee clients. Before founding LCJ Solutions, Johnson was the senior vice president of corporate affairs at Citigroup, serving as the chief communications adviser to four CEOs, and vice president of corporate communications for Standard & Poor’s.

Leah brings deep expertise working on policy, mergers and acquisitions, and crisis management, as well as with investors and the SEC, proficiencies that will help us on our still-new journey as a public company.

Bonita currently serves as vice president of global partnerships at Google, responsible for its U.S. strategic partnerships team representing news and publishing, broadcast, media and entertainment, mobile apps, search, telecommunications and commerce. Prior to her 12 years at Google, Bonita served as director of interactive communications for DaimlerChrysler.

We look forward to Bonita’s wisdom from working with large global brands on behalf of one of the most respected technology giants in the world. In particular, Bonita’s understanding of digital transformation from the customer and buyer perspectives, as well as the technology seller viewpoint, will prove invaluable.

Combined, their experiences provide strategic perspectives we need as we continue expanding our global community of learners and technology leaders.

Welcome, Leah and Bonita. We’re proud to have you on our board.
